THE government has approved 40% discount for touri *** industry fines and extended the payment period until September 30.
The Ministry of Touri *** , Arts and Culture in a statement today said it was to help the touri *** industry players still affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It said companies and guides who failed to renew their licences were also exempt from a compound during the period.
However, all companies should ensure they submit a licence renewal application within 30 days of the expiry date.
